The second dose of John Williams for the summer of 2004 is his next collaboration on Steven Spielberg's "The Terminal". Again, Williams hits a homerun with this score where every track has something worth listening to. For the main character, Viktor Navorski, Williams uses an exciting ethnic clarinet tune that builds with the entire orchestra (The Tale of Viktor Navorski). One of the best themes on the album is a classic Hollywood- and David Raksin-influenced jazz theme (The Fountain Scene). This is a lively score reminiscent of the composer's previous music to "Sabrina" and "Catch Me If You Can". Williams even wrote the National Anthem for the ficticious country of Krakozhia for the film.
