When Sam Witwicky (Shia LaBeouf) hands his father $2,000 and three A's, he can pick out his very first car. But, as fate would have it, "the car picks the driver," and the car that picks Sam isn't really a car at all. It's an "alien robot."
Sam soon finds himself in the middle of an alien civil war that has landed on earth. An army of Autobots, led by the gigantic Optimus Prime, are fighting to keep a cube of energy away from the evil Decepticons, and to save all human life.
Transformers, directed by Michael Bay and produced by Steven Spielberg, is an exciting film that combines action with groundbreaking special effects and a little bit of humor. An incredible film with a breathtaking score.
