Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen
If you're looking for a film with a confusing, messy story and packed with deafening explosions, "Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen" is the movie for you. While the majority of the time, the plot of this film seemed incomprehensible, not all of it was bad. There was a mix of good and bad in this film.
Directed by Michael Bay, "Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen" is the sequel to the first "Transformers," which was nominated for three Oscars. The sequel revolves around the rival between the Autobots and the Decepticons. After making its way back to Cybertron, Starscream, who becomes the head of the Decepitcons, decides to return to Earth to fight the Autobots and humans. The Autobots also discover that Megatron's body has been stolen by Skorpinox and brought back to life using his own power. Megatron is therefore back fighting with Starscream. Meanwhile, Sam (the human) is going to college and learning to deal with leaving his girlfriend, Mikaela Banes.
This film brings back the old characters and actors, while also introducing a few new faces. Shia LaBeouf and Megan Fox return, playing the roles of Sam Witwicky and Mikaela Banes, respectively. The film also stars Josh Duhamel as Major Lennox, Tyrese Gibson as USAF Master Sergeant Epps, John Turturro as Agent Simmons, Ramon Rodriguez as Leo Spitz, Kevin Dunn as Ron Witwicky, and Julie White as Judy Witwicky.
While there is no intellect to the plot, this film's motive is purely to entertain. And, it will not fail to amuse you. The sequel displays a lot more robots, explosions, and is packed with action, leaving you without one dull moment.
In addition, the acting isn't half bad. Shia LaBeouf is excellent in his role as Sam Witwicky.
"Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen" has its ups and its downs, but overall, it will take you on an entertaining ride.
