As a fan of the 80s and its music and flashy fashions, I am good at noticing those influenced by this era's brainwashing of good music and the fun and funky. New Bruises was obviously not influenced by the 80s or 90s, for they spawned good artists. I am sorry to say that Bryon (Guitar & Vocals) Eric (Bass & Vox) Marcus (Guitars) Eric the Red (Drums) Chris Murray (Guitar), have some explaining to do, to the mega-masses of hardened rock and roll fans out there.
I understand that putting together a band and bringing together a sound that is good enough to get you signed to the Wednesday night round up at your local dive bar is a lot of work. But I am here to say, that work did not pay off too well. I have heard better bands and beats at my teenage brother's school talent shows. And it is offensive to listen in to try and review this CD when it should just be a demo of what the band can do.
Get it together boys, for the problem isn't the playing, but the vocals are destroying your musical plea.
