'Twilight Saga: Eclipse' is the Best of Three

A review of the third installment in the popular romance fantasy series

Part 3 of Stephanie Meyer’s vampire romance series continues to entice audiences around the world, bringing in about 69 million dollars during its opening weekend. For those of us who are Twilight fanatics, Eclipse seems to incorporate a lot of major scenes from the novel, contrary to part 1 and 2 of the saga

As the series continues, Bella (Kristin Stewart) and her breath-taking vampire boyfriend Edward (Robert Pattinson) have vowed to be together forever, but there’s still trouble lingering in paradise. Not only does Bella have residual feelings for Edward’s enemy, Jacob (Taylor Lautner), but resentful Victoria (Byrce Dallas Howard) is still on the hunt for Bella.

Seattle is devastated by a series of unexplained murders, as a congregation of newborn, bloodthirsty vampires wreak havoc on the city and once again, Bella finds herself face to face with danger. In the midst of all this, tensions rise between the ‘love-triangle,’ and Edward and Jacob must try and work together in order to protect their precious Bella.

As graduation nears, Bella also faces a tough decision; will she say goodbye to family and friends to be with Edward for eternity or will she remain Human?

For those of us ‘Twi-Hard’ fans, Eclipse does the best representation of the novels. Director David Slade pumps up the energy with better action scenes, and increased tension between Bella, Edward, and Jacob.
