About ten years ago I gave up film and went digital. It made things a lot cheaper and increased my profits on photography assignments. While I was doing work only a few notches above family photos, I was still making money. Go out take the picture; here's a few bucks.
Just a part time job, how good could I get? Digital cameras have changed, and so have I. Take the shot, and the camera handles it all. But for those who want a little more explanation of how and why, and some hints on doing it better, George Schaub has written this book. The author uses abundant photographs to illustrate his suggestions and instructions. These shots make a most effective educational tool.
If you are giving someone a digital camera as a present, this book would make a wonderful complement to that gift.
