We Couldn't Think of a Title

One of the problems with modern heavy metal is that generally the musicians take themselves too seriously and try too hard to be menacing and angst driven. Psychostick is just not too concerned with these boring and overly trodden roads, they do something different and new in the field of modern heavy metal. Psychostick is the estranged love child of System of a Down and The Bloodhound Gang, that is to say if you take the best things about those two bands and shove them together you would get something similar to Psychostic. We Couldn't Think of a Title, is a beautifully balanced album of very well played metal, with the added bonus of lyrics capable of making you laugh out loud. This album needed to be made, every once in a while a genre of music gets stagnant and needs to be brought to life again, this has happened to metal and We Couldn't Think of a Title is the defibrillator come to breathe new life into heavy metal as a whole. This is absolute must have and possibly the most original and entertaining metal album to be released in a decade.

Psychostick absolutely knows what they are doing and should not be discounted as musicians, just because they are willing to have fun. Humor is said to be one of the hardest fields and this band is capable of being funny, while still being very good at what they do. They would still be a heavy metal band with enough talent to rival any other band out today, even without the humor. The humor, however, is what sets them apart and gives them their own spot in the world of heavy metal. Even if you only have the slightest interest in heavy metal, buy this album at any cost. If you are a metal fan, this is the one you've been waiting for. I can safely say that this is probably the best metal album I have ever heard.
