At first blush, there are echoes of an indie garage band, heavily influenced by early Who and reminiscent of early Donnas. Something is amiss/listen closer. The Creation is a group of twelve and thirteen years that came together due to their love of making music. Their youth comes through in the lyrical content, and on the musical side, where a fight ensues often ensues between the guitars and drums.
While this record can be catchy after a few listens, there is room for the growth that will come as these youngsters mature. They are definitely targeting the infamous "tweens" demographic. A valiant effort indeed, but perhaps they have some growing up to do. Let's see what will happen when they transition from the "tweens" to the chaotic teens.
