Bob Newhart

Elevator run in
I have to confess, this was my mother and not me. On a trip to Toronto, Canada in the 80s, my parents were on a crowded elevator. As they were riding, Bob Newhart got on the elevator and smiled at my mother. No one said anything to him, and when he got off, my mother turned to my father and said (loud enough so that everyone could hear), "I think he recognized me." Everyone in the elevator was stumped trying to figure out who my mother was!
