Before his Ed Sullivan appearance, sometime in late 1950s, Bobby Darin needed an envelope delivered. Although I was bike messenger for the service he used in NYC, I was surprised to have him hand the envelope to me in the aisle of the theater, tell me where to go and give me a one dollar tip.
