Back in the early 80s when Rick Springfield was popular my sister bought me and my friend tickets for his concert for my birthday in Merriville, Indiana. I was ready with my notebook and pen for an autograph and was sure I would get one. It was about two hours before the concert and we were eating in the lounge when he walked right by us! I dropped everything, forgetting my pad of paper for the autograph and ran after him... right into the men's room. Needless to say I was thrown out of the men's room and left without an autograph, but I still had an awesome time since it was my first concert!
