Baked Beans at the Airport
This was back in the 1980's and my brother was coming home from a visit with my grandparents in Florida. My mother, aunt and myself all went to the airport to pick him up. As we were waiting for him to get off the plane I noticed someone that looked familiar - could it be? Yes. It was Rick Springfield who I was in love with at the time. He had been on the same plane as my brother. We started searching for something to get his autograph on and my aunt finally pulls out a little piece of paper but it was a coupon for baked beans. I told her there was no way I could ask for Rick Springfield's autograph on a baked beans coupon. I would be mortified. By that time we had lost sight of him and searched all over the airport but he was gone. My brother of course had no clue he was even on the plane with him.
