Conan O'Brien

I was waiting tables in a Bar-B-Q restaurant in Connecticut when Conan and his then-girlfriend walked in. As I took their order, I instigated a little chit chat and asked him if he had a late night talk show. He didn't seem very pleased at being recognized, yet admitted that, yes, he did indeed have a late night talk show. I didn't want him to feel any more uncomfortable about being recognized and I concluded my conversation by saying, "Well, it's very nice to meet you, Mr. Letterman!" He burst out laughing and from that day on, whenever he came into the restaurant, I was his waitress.
