Meeting Bill Clinton on street in Little Rock Arkansas
My mother and I were shopping at one of the grocery stores in Little Rock, Arkansas and had just stepped out to the street when we met Bill Clinton and his daughter Chelsea. He clasped my hand and said, "I'm Bill Clinton and I'm running for governor, would you please vote for me?"
I said, "Sorry but mother and I are Canadians and can't vote."
He was so nice, saying how much he liked visiting Canada and we had a long talk about the different places that he had been to and we both knew. His daughter was just as delightful as he was. I was working and at the Children's hospital at that time.
