Riding in an elevator with Rod Stewart and Ronnie Wood (Faces) in 1972, I mentioned that another group on the tour had been scandalously thrown out of a posh hotel for throwing sandwiches and beer off of their balcony. Rod scoffed and said "...we throw bricks and knives!"
