On flight to Puerto Vallarta with Ian
In October of 2002, I was on a flight from Los Angeles to Puerto Vallarta and the plane seemed rather packed with rather "familiar looking faces" but I just couldn't place them. Well, once in the airport I realized the plane was packed with camera crews and directors. Then I looked to my right while waiting for my luggage and Ian Ziering was standing next to me. I didn't want to act like a groupie so I just smiled. Then people started asking him for his autograph and he politely obliged. Then I looked at him and said I didn't understand why they weren't asking for my autograph. He looked at me puzzled as in possible embarrassment because he did not know who I was. Well, I let him sweat for a few minutes then I said I was was just giving him a hard time and he thought it was really funny. He told me to have a great trip and I tried to get him to tell me why they were all in Puerto Vallarta but he just said for rest and relaxation. I think something else must've been going on. I also spotted Alfonso Ribeiro, Carlton from "The Fresh Prince of Bel-Air." Also, Ian's wife was on the flight. They were still married at the time. Well, anyway that was my brush with the stars.
