Barry Manilow

We didn't think it was stalking
My two older sisters, Anne and Kathy, were huge Barry Manilow fans in the early 80s. I tagged along to see one of his concerts with them in Philadelphia. It was an outdoor show on a nice summer day, so they decided to make the day of it and hopefully have a Barry sighting in the park. Well the day went on and of course no Barry sightings. The concert was great and afterward they were awestuck and located his tour bus, still hoping for a sighting. Again, no sighting. But the tour bus started to leave and my sister Anne floored it. We ended up following the tourbus from Philadelphia to New York City outside of his apartment building. Needless to say, he wasn't especially happy to see us. His only words were, "How did you find me here?" When we told him the story he graciously signed autographs and went inside. Probably scared to death.
