Alan Jackson

My cousin was in the same ICU ward in Nashville as George Jones when he hit that bridge. I was waiting to see her, when Alan and his wife came within a couple of feet from my sisters and me. They got on the elevator and my sisters went after them to get an autograph. As much as I wanted to meet them both, I stayed fearing I would miss my chance to see my cousin.I thought it could be the last time to see her. I don't regret my decision, but I do hope that maybe one day I'll get the chance to meet them under better circumstances.
