50 Cent

Airport Incident
Last summer, my family and I went on vacation to Honolulu, Hawaii. My best and worst experiences in Hawaii occurred at the Honolulu Airport before we departed for the eight-hour flight home. My family and I were instructed to put all of our carry-ons in a plastic tray, so the items could be run through an x-ray machine. My brother placed his belongings in the same tray that I had positioned my purse and Skittles. When my items went through the machine, the security officer stopped the conveyor belt and examined the computer screen that displayed the x-ray image. The man picked up the phone and called someone and told him to come now. Within a few minutes, 10 more officers arrived on the scene. The supervisor finally pulled the tray out of the x-ray machine and picked up a three-inch-long gun. The man asked who owned the small gun. My brother admitted that it belonged to him, but explained that the gun was only a laser. Even though the supervisor had already guessed that it was only a laser, he still drilled my brother with questions about why he brought it and gave a speech about why my brother should not have brought any kind of gun into the airport. The man, then, handed me the tray so I could collect my belongings. Everything was dumped out of my purse, and all of the Skittles were spilled out of the bag. The men had searched through my belongings to make sure nothing was hidden.
While I stuffed everything back into my purse, I heard a familiar voice and glanced up. The man that stood at the x-ray machine opposite from me was 50 Cent! I ran over to my mom and told her who I saw, but she didn't believe me. I pointed him out to her and she was flabbergasted. After digging my camera out of my purse, my mom and I went over and asked 50 Cent if I could have a picture with him. He answered with a modest, "Sure." Before the picture was taken, he adjusted his clothes to make sure he looked decent. Then he took his arm and put it around me. I couldn't believe I was standing next to 50 Cent, a legendary rapper. My mom took the picture while my brother stood off to the side. After seeing my brother, 50 Cent asked him if he wanted to be in a picture also. My brother jumped at the chance and got his picture taken with him too. Meeting 50 Cent made my vacation very memorable.
I loved my vacation in Hawaii and meeting 50 Cent made me even happier. The laser gun incident embarrassed me, but if that had not happened, I would have never met 50 Cent. Life works out it weird ways!
