Just Another One of the Guys
Garth Brooks contracted with my company. While he was meeting with some of our staff, I met up with the caterers from across the street who was carrying the food in for the meeting. I begged to help carry in the food, and guess who held the door for all of us. Garth Brooks!
As I passed by him, he said: "Hey, how ya doin'?"
"Boy, you're much bigger than I thought," I replied.
He replied, "Oh, thanks a lot, I guess I am pretty big."
Afterwards, he walked over as we set up the food and hugged each of us, introducing himself to us and asking our names. He even kissed one of the caterers who shaved the top of her head. He was an incredibly nice guy.
