My step-niece's dad drove the band bus for CDB. I chaperoned her to San Diego to spend the Labor Day weekend (1988) with her dad, courtesy of Charlie. Rode on Charlie's bus with he and his wife, Hazel, to the Wild Animal Park for a private tour, up close and personal with the animals, before the gig on Sunday.
