John Travolta

While working as a superintendent in Montreal, Quebec I met a lot of great people. This one tenant of mine was the makeup artist for John Travolta's new movie at the time, "Battleship Earth." I mentioned to her he was my favorite movie star. She went to the set and mentioned it to him. They set up a time for me to meet him. As luck would have it, I was really ill and ended up in the hospital the night before with DVT, a blood clot in my leg that traveled to my lung. When I got home from the hospital a couple of weeks later, Josie Doucet came to my apartment and gave me an autographed picture signed by him personally to Linda (me). The once-in-a-lifetime chance lost. But I was still so happy to have the picture that I might add is framed now and hanging on my wall for all to see.
