I met Elvis
When I was about seven, I went to our county fair, and I was so excited when I saw the sign that said Elvis and the best part was the concert was free. Because I grew up very poor, this was something special, I was realy going to see Elvis. Well the time came for the concert and it was wonderful and when the end was near I even had Elvis hand me one of those silk scarves, I was in heaven, or though I thought. When we were leaving I was told that that was not really Elvis and that it was an impersonator. I was crushed. If i had read the sign better I would have known it was not the real one. Oh wel,l I was only 7 and I got over it and that is the closest I ever came to meeting a famous person.
