Solo in an Elevator
I used to work graveyard shift in the IS deptartment of a major hospital in my area. One morning after a long night's shift, it was about 7 a.m. when I was going downstairs via the elevator to have a break. When the elevator came to my floor, there was already a man inside. Being tired and not looking my best at that hour, I didn't take much notice of the man next to me, but as we stood there in silence going down to the first floor, It dawned on me that he looked a lot like Harrison Ford. He had the same face and his hair looked a bit grayer and a bit messy. Just before the doors opened, I asked "Excuse me but has anyone ever told you that you look like Harrison Ford?" He, in turn, still looking straight ahead replied "Every day." And the doors opened and he walked out. It took me a moment, (remember I was sleepy by this time) and then it dawned on me his wisecrack reply. ARGH! I tried to catch up with him after I realized what was going on, but he had already stepped into a dark car parked by the enterance and had left.
