Frankie Valli

I was born in Newark, N.J.,and my mother and Frankie Valli's sister-in-law were best freinds. The Four Seasons were just working on their first record, and were not yet well known. He used to live in an upstairs apt. in Newark, and we used to go visit them. I'm 55, and we're talking a lot of years ago. He was a regular guy and father, pretty nice to us kids. I remember his sister-in-law telling us his first record was coming out, and i was like, yeah that's nice. Little did I know! His name was not Valli back then, I forget just what it was, but his little apt. in Newark is, I'm sure, a far cry from what he lives in today. And what I wouldn't give to see him in concert now!
