He called me Babe!!!
I think I was 12 or so when I met Danny Glover. My Dad is one of those action buffs so I'd seen all the "Leathal Weapon" movies. Then one Febuary we found out that they were filming a movie at the local cafe and everyone was going crazy guessing who the stars were and what they would think of us(Wondervu, Colo. is not a big town:) ). So finally they start filming and we see glimpses of Jared Leto and Dennis Quaid. The movie they were filming was "Switchback." One morning my friends and I skipped school to watch the "movie magic." Of course, my school called my dad and he showed up just in time to hand me a piece of paper so I could run across the highway and ask Danny Glover for his autograph. He laughed and me and all my friends and asked how we could stand being in short sleeve shirts in the 40 degree weather. He had on flannel and down and said he was still cold. He called me babe and asked where I got the paper he was signing. I said my dad and then realized that my dad had givven my A $20 bill, because he didn't have anything else.
I never got in trouble for skipping school that day, not even from the teacher (and he heard the whole story), I still have that $20 bill, It's framed and hanging on the wall. It was a sighting this small town girl never expected and most definitely will never forgret.
