Met Robert Young in front yard of his home
When I was a boy around 12, living in California, my grandparents came for a visit. We took them to Hollywood to see the movie stars' homes. Outside of his home, decorating for Christmas, we saw Robert Young. My grandmother made my dad circle the block three times. Finally, we stopped and they sent me to ask for an autograph. Unwillingly, I did so. He was very gracious. He gave me his autograph, a big smile, and waved at my grandmother. I thought she was going to faint.
