I worked in a mental health facility in Santa Barbara in 1985. There was a big dinner for Gary Pudney of ABC entertainment. There were many celebs there (Morgan Fairchild, William Chistopher, James Stewart, Ricardo Montalban etc, etc). Danny Thomas was sitting on a couch in the hall. He very nicely talked to me without being gruff as another celeb was. I talked to him about common things and he was attentive to me and made me feel relaxed.
