Andrea Bocelli

Flying to Italy to hear Andrea Bocelli sing two performances of TOSCA seemed like reward enough. But while sight-seeing in Lajatico I went into a coffee shop to buy a bottle of water and while paying for the water, in walks Andrea with his beautiful girlfriend, Veronica. I introduced myself, in my rather pathetic Italian, and Andrea looked confused. So I switched to English and told him, "Andrea, you did beautifully in the opera on Saturday night." To which he smiled and thanked me. I then quietly stepped away.
