Sat next to her on a flight!
I was on a flight from Montrose, CO to Phoenix, sitting next to Darryl Hannah. She was late -- almost missed the flight, having driven in from Telluride (where she has a home). Her hair was wet and she was SO SKINNY in person. Not 6-feet tall as I assumed, either. The airport is so small that you have to board by walking out on the tarmac and up the stairs. She turned to me as we were walking out and said, "Is this our flight?" I nodded, but thought, HELLO, this is the ONLY flight leaving out of this airport for about the next 6 hours! She drank a Dr. Pepper on the (morning) flight and I noticed she was reading the book, "Stupid White Men" by Michael Moore.
