I have been Avril Lavigne's fan since she came out on the charts and I have been following her ever since. Recently she came out with a new album and was doing heavy promotion in and around NYC for it, so one day she was on the Early Show...it was actually the date that she was performing at Zootopia and I decided as a true follower to come see her, of course hoping to meet her, or talk to her, or see her. The summer concert went on and unfortunately I was way too far to see anything much, but afterwards, since she is so cool she went around signing autographs in the crowd. I had a huge poster with me that I was making the night before and when Avril passed by, I seriously pleaded "AVRIL PLEASE" and guess what, she stopped and started signing my poster! While that was happening I started blabbing to her how much I adore her and how I am her biggest fan and that I am about to see her in 3 concerts in the next week. I also asked to take a picture of her, which she gladly let me. She was so awesome because as she was signing the autograph she was also looking at the pictures on the poster, which I was pointing out as being taken from the walls in my room. My entire room is plastered with pictures and other memorabilia of hers. This was the most memorable and fulfilling moment in my entire life. It has now been almost 6 months since that happened and I can still remember every detail of that day every time I close my eyes. I have met my idol...not many poeple are able to do that in their entire life and I was able to do that at such a young age. Later that week I saw her in an intimate concert at Webster Hall (which I won tickets to by entering a contest) and when she came to the front of the stage, she recognized me in the crowd... She smiled at me as I waved to her...that was amazing. Anyway, the experience of meeting and talking to a person whom I admire the most was unbelievable.
