I was fighting wildfires in Grand Junction, CO. We got a Sunday morning off, so we went to the Holiday Inn to have a Sunday brunch. As I walked in, out walked Christie Brinkley and her daughter Alexis. I held my breath, I thought I was going to get to see BILLY JOEL, one of my favorite recording artists! The man she was with, before it had hit the press, was the man from Telluride, CO that she later married. I met him in the door, and he gave me a thumbs up!!
