I asked Bart Conner for ID to cash a check
Bart Conner drove into my lane at the bank and wanted to cash a check, and I didn't recognize him. Norman, Oklahoma isn't a very big town, and everyone knows him, but for some reason I didn't put the name and the face together. After I asked for ID and he gave it to me without a word or a look, it dawned on me who he was. I apologized three times, but he was very nice. I gave him his money and he went on his way. That was one of the most embarrassing moments of my life and entirely true.
