I danced and talked on stage with Fabian.
Frankie Avalon and his son performed, and Bobby Rydel played his drums. Fabian sang, made jokes, and then asked five young ladies to join him on stage to dance the twist. I walked all the way across the stage to be the last one. Fabians' eyes popped open. I danced around him stooped and did it. Of course the twist was my song and dance growing up. Finally I got out of breath and walked behind the other four dancing. He looked at me to stay put at the black curtain. I did. Then the music ended, and the other four walked down the steps to their seats. He called me over in the middle of the stage and talked and joked with me.
