Marilyn Manson grabs my ass
I was at Ozzfest back in 2000 and had the pleasure of wandering backstage. I was shirtless in some blue board shorts with flames on them with bushy afro-like blond hair. I started walking around and talking to people from different bands and cruised onto people's buses, getting free drinks among other things.
I started talking to this guy for about a half hour and it ended up being Ross Robinson, producer for bands like Slipknot, The Cure and many more. He offered to let me borrow his all access backstage pass to go watch Marilyn Manson from the stage.
It was crazy having Manson performing only a few feet away from me and looking into the void of bodies moving to the music in the crowd.
This is where it gets kind of interesting because when Manson's set ended, he began to walk in my direction to go off the stage. Being me, I said, "Nice set sexy," and he said, "Thanks sweetheart," and hugged me and grabbed my ass. So I grabbed his, and the roadies got a kick out of that.
So I was standing on the front of the stage waving at friends who were in awe at the fact that I was on the stage. I started walking off the stage, and as I set foot on the first step down the stage, there was Ozzy and Black Sabbath. I said hi, and they all said hi and shook my hand. Tony Iommi gave me one of his signature guitar picks and offered an autograph, which I declined as politely as possible; I didn't even have anything for him to sign.
I wandered back over to Ross to give him back his pass and pick up a couple pit wrist bands and backstage passes. When I found him, he was talking to Gene Simmons from KISS. I spoke with him and had a couple laughs.
