a plant for a hat
I was with my husband in a nice restaurant in the Hamptons, and I noticed Billy Joel sitting in the corner. He obviously wanted to be incognito--he was wearing sunglasses and a hat even though it was indoors. What struck me as hilarious was that there was a giant fern thing behind him, and it hung above him like a floppy hat when he was trying to disappear into the background. As I approached his table, he gave me this look that said, "Don't come over here lady!" Of course, I had to say hi.
