My Name Is..My Name Is...My Name Is KID ROCK?!
Kid Rock was doing a show in Knoxville, TN, and a friend of mine and I bumped into him at a local used record shop. I walked up to him, asked him for his autograph and told him that I had seen him the week before on MTV's Total Request Live. I said, "Yeah, it was so funny when you were impersonating Carson Daily. Man, you really got him. It was hysterical!" He replied, "Thanks, man."
I shook his hand and told him I'd see him at the show. As I walked off, my friend punched me in the shoulder and said, "Dude, that was EMINEM on Total Request Live last week! You jackass!" I bolted for the door--utterly embarassed.
I was surprised at how cordial he was to me, even though he had no idea what I was talking about throughout our entire conversation.
