I met kelly
I attended a MAD TV tapping on November 1, 2003. Kelly and Jack Osbourne were the special guests invited to appear on the show that day. The funny thing is that I only went to the taping because I had heard that the Strokes were going to perform a song. What I later found out was that they taped their segment a week before. I stuck around.
I'm a Kelly fan. She performed two songs, and she and Jack appeared in a SEVENTH HEAVEN spoof. That was hilarious. The best part was that they were only a few feet away from me. Kelly was my height! How cool is that!
The taping took four hours. I was so tired. It took forever to go to the parking lot. When I got there, I spotted Kelly and Jack waiting for their limo. They had two security guards with them, but I got close enough to say hi!
I said, “Kelly!!! I’m a big fan!!” She smiled, waved and said hello!!
I told her she was great, and she said, “Thank you!!! Goodbye!!!” They got in and drove away.
I also met two of the MAD TV cast members. They were cool. So after a grueling taping, it was all worth it in the end.
