Bob Hope, he tickled my funny bone!
When I was in the Navy, stationed on the USS Lexington, I had the chance to meet Bob Hope, among many others, one day during a Christmas special he was producing on board.
He came up behind me, and being as I was one of the few females that was available at the time, he tapped me on the shoulder and asked if I had a make-up mirror that Liz Taylor could borrow, since she had not brought hers. My knees buckled, and he made the kind jesture to help me up. It was funny and as he made light of it, we laughed together. Yes, Liz did use my mirror, and when it came back to me it was signed with lipstick! A day I'll never forget. Ever!
