Ben Vereen

This celebrity event occurred quite a few years ago. Mr. Vereen was in town to perform at Melody Fair (just outside Buffalo, NY). I had been at Crystal Beach amusement park and riding in the last seat of the Comet roller coaster. As always (being wacky( I screamed "We're all going to die!" on the way up the first hill. An incredibly handsome African American man with a flourescent smile turned around... it was BEN VEREEN! He laughed and the ride was great.I saw him later on the bumper cars and he gave me another big smile and waved.
