Dining in a little cafe in Paris
My mother and her friend were in Paris early in the 1980s having lunch in a street cafe and all the tables were full, but they had two spare chairs. A couple approached them and asked if they could join them. Mom agreed and they had a nice lunch and the man even bought them a bottle of wine to share. Once back home in Canada, Mom was unpacking when her friend called all in a fluff. There, on the front cover of the TV Guide, was Chevy Chase, the man they had just had lunch with a few days earlier!!!
