Humble Detroit Tigers Player
My best friend was deeply infactuated with Detroit's, Bobby Higginson, insomuch that she made several big "birthday signs" to hold up on his big day in Comerica Park. We left early purposely to watch him warm up for the game. He was very receptive as we waved and allowed us to take pictures. I am so grateful for this experience as less than a year later my best friend discovered she had pancreatic cancer. She didn't last long after that, but I know she had a wonderful time that night due to a very humble player.
