Golf pants
My son's grade school is directly across the street from the home in which Vince Gill grew up and where his mother still resides. Whenever he is in town, he stays with her. One morning, I was picking my son up from kindergarten and his tour bus was parked in front of her house and people were loading things onto the bus. As I was driving by the bus to leave, Vince Gill came out into the street to put something onto the bus. He was wearing the most hideous pair of pants that I have ever seen and I think they were golf pants. They were checkered and very bright and, as I recall, they were green and purple. I waved to him as I went by and said out the window "nice pants!" He smiled and waved back. I explained to my son that he was a very famous and talented man and that he used to go to his school. My son said "Then why does he have such ugly pants?"
