How I almost got myself clobbered by John Goodman
In the early 1990's I was at the Beacon Theater in NYC, at a Firesign Theater comedy anniversary celebration show. Seated behind me, I saw a bearded guy that looked alot like a young John Goodman. During the show's intermission the real John Goodman came over to speak with the looklike, apparently his younger brother. As he was signing someone's autograph, he asked who should he make it out to? I piped up: "anything but Rosanne." He gave me a pentrating, dirty look, took a very deep breath and continued signing.
