Pumping me up!
I met Arnold Schwarzenegger at the Arnold Schwarzenegger Classic Bodybulidng competition back in the late 1980s. I was by myself at a stand of prducts that he was endorsing called "Pure Power." He walked up right beside me and poured himself a drink. It was just me and him at the stand, and ten feet away was a crowd of photographers--capturing just Arnold and me! He turned and looked at me and said in his thick accent, "We drink to Pure Power!" I raised my little sample cup, but was blown away. I am not sure I said anything. Sixteen years old and I just met the biggest person alive who I looked up to. I couldn't believe it. I must have told my friends that story hundreds of times after that. It was amazing.
