A couple of years ago, I was at an outdoor concert at my church, which is in the St. Louis area. The weather was nasty. All night it rained, but the concert went on. There were several booths for the artists' merchendise in the back, and someone in the Salvador band's booth kept catching my eye. He looked just like Albert Pujols. "Nah, it couldn't be," I thought. I was talking to one of my friends later on during the concert, and I mentioned, "Hey, that guy in the Salvador tent looks just like Albert Pujols." I was shocked by her response that it actually was him. (The Cardinals are definatly my favorite team of my favorite sport, and I later learned that Salvador is one of his favorite bands.) I searched everywhere for something for him to sign. Where's a new baseball when you need one?! I finally resorted to having him sign my ticket stub. Still, it was amazing to go up to him and hand him that worthless little piece of paper! I have it now protected in a clear sleeve, proudly displayed on the "Cardinals shelf" in my room.
