Missing a plane was the greatest!
In 1983 I was lucky enough to win a 2 week holiday for two to Hawaii. Our holiday was unexpectedly extended by one day because of a mix-up with the flights going home. I didn't complain as, not only did we get another day in the paradise of Hawaii, but on the way home we flew on the same plane as the great Ali. Naturally he flew first class and so I did not get to see him on the flight. However, my patience was rewarded because whilst collecting our luggage at Heathrow I became aware of a formidable figure standing next to me. I looked up (I am only 5 feet 7 inches)and there was the great man himself. I asked him if I could take a photo of him and he told me it was no problem. This was a knockout way to end a holiday!
