Not Hootie
At Pleasure Island in Orlando, Florida, Hootie & The Blowfish and Sheryl Crowe performed at one of the many stages back in October, 2004. So Hootie went on first. Great show, never heard of either before. After awhile Sheryl Crowe came on and my two buddies and I were front and center staring and enjoying. She was wearing a black leather skort and I was shouting to my friend it was such a kick-ass "skirt". That second, a guy smacked me with the back of his hand and said "It's a skort, man." My friend said, "Oh Shit, its Hootie!" The guy, replied, "Darius" and then we realized it was the front man himself. Then Darius Rucker smiled, shoved his shades on his face and walked off. At his next set he just smiled at us from stage.
