Buddy Hackett

Thirty years ago, while playing at the Macgregor Downs Country Club in Cary, NC, I hooked a drive toward the wrong green. The ball ricocheted off a golf cart and hit Buddy Hackett on the left cheek (face!). I knew he was famous for his profanity; unfortunately, I received first hand experience with it. After he realized I was just a lousy golf player, he had a hearty laugh and bought me a beer later... even though I was just 18 at the time.
