Always the gentleman
After an evening that started at Regine's and included Bobby Short at the Carlisle, we adjorned to Elaine's for a nightcap. As my date Donna and I left, a gentleman held the door for us as we left the Upper East Side watering hole, before following us out and jumping into a waiting limo. Donna asked if I knew who it was, and I said no- and she said Warren Beatty had held the door for us before joining his sister in the car.
